What we are looking for:

We are seeking a skilled Field Operations Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Vice President of Construction and the Field Operations department. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operational support, i.e., review and analyze reports, records, and directives, and confer with Field Operations management to obtain necessary data required for reporting and planning activities. The ideal candidate pays strong attention to the detail, is organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Position Summary:

  • Assist in the onboarding and orientation of field associates.
  • Assist in managing manpower placement software updates and the ongoing management of the day-to-day placement of associates.
  • Audit project-specific document control systems for data accuracy.
  • Maintain day-to-day operational support for the Field Operations department.
  • Assist with preparation of department budgets.
  • Assemble data to plan and justify expenditures to support current and future needs.
  • Coordinate and help facilitate NCCER Core certification class for inexperienced associates and help develop an apprenticeship class for the skilled trades that Marker self-performs.
  • Maintain Procore Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Field Operations.
  • Support Superintendents with technology and software related questions and schedule training as needed.
  • Maintain manpower forecasting spreadsheet/software.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings.

The following skills/qualifications are necessary:

  • Proficient in the operation of various computer operating systems, i.e., Microsoft and Apple.
  • Minimum 2 years of construction experience or degree in a related field preferred.
  • Procore Certified training preferred.
  • Be a NCCER Core certified trainer or be willing to become certified.
  • Must speak and understand English to effectively communicate with team members, promote and implement Marker and OSHA safety instructions, and complete job-related tasks.

Primary Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Vice President of Construction.
